The Docklands, a recent addition to Melbourne, and a suburb in its own right, caused a stir with some people. Full of modern architecture that boasts about a million and one pale pastel colours, its divided Melbournians from the date of its conception to present day.
But whatever your take on the architecture, it’s hard to argue that it’s not a popular destination in summer with its many outdoor bars and restaurants. With wonderful views over the water to the city, cool breezes, and stunning sunsets, sitting in an open bar with a chilled white wine is a great way to wind down after a busy week! If you haven't tried it yet, go and treat yourself!
It is really not that dangerous...
if you know what to do!
