The Sydney Harbour Bridge is the second best known landmark in Sydney, second only to the Opera House. Which isn’t surprising: each year there is footage worldwide of the fireworks on New Years eve and it on a heap of tourism and advertising related material.
Also known as the “Coat Hanger”, the Sydney Harbour Bridge is the worlds widest span bridge, and the worlds tallest steel span bridge. It is the worlds fifth longest steel arch bridge.
